Terms & Conditions

By accessing or using the Western India Sea Brines Pvt. Ltd. website ("Site"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). These govern your use of the Site and any transactions related to our salt products and services.

1. Use of Website

• Site provides information about our salt manufacturing facility in Kutch, Gujarat and products including refined iodised salt, industrial salt, and specialty grades.
• You may not misuse the Site, copy content without permission, transmit viruses, or interfere with functionality.
• We reserve the right to suspend access for violations.

2. Products and Quotations

• Quotations via contact form/email are valid for 15 days.
• Prices exclude GST (18%), transportation, port handling, and other duties.
• Minimum order quantity applies for industrial salt (typically 20 MT).

3. Orders and Delivery

• Orders accepted via email (vijay.jain@westernsalt.com) or phone after quotation approval.
• Delivery via road/rail to Kandla/Mundra ports or customer-specified locations.
• Delivery timelines are estimates (7-21 days). Weather, monsoon season, and production schedules may cause delays.
• Customer must inspect goods upon delivery and report issues within 48 hours.
• Risk passes to buyer upon loading/delivery.

4. Payment Terms

• Payment in INR only to our designated bank account.
• Late payments attract 18% annual interest.
• We reserve right to suspend future deliveries for overdue payments.

5. Quality Specifications

• Refined Iodised Salt meets FSSAI standards (15-30 ppm iodine).
• Industrial salt purity 97%+ NaCl as specified.
• Products packed in food-grade HDPE bags (1kg, 10kg, 25kg, 50kg).
• Quality certificates provided with each shipment.

6. Liability and Warranty

• Our liability limited to invoice value of defective goods.
• No liability for consequential damages, lost profits, or production delays.
• Warranty period: 30 days from delivery for quality issues only.

7. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays due to:

• Monsoon flooding in Kutch salt pans (June-September)
• Strikes, labour disputes, or government regulations
• Natural disasters, port congestion, or transportation delays

8. Intellectual Property

All website content, product images (hero-salt-pans.jpg, product-retail.jpg, etc.), and branding belongs to Western India Sea Brines Pvt. Ltd. No reproduction without written permission.

9. Governing Law

These Terms governed by laws of India. Disputes subject to exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bhachau/Kutch, Gujarat.

10. Amendments

We may update these Terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.
